Coordinate volunteers? Connect with others Sept 5th - NOVAA comes to SW Washington

If you coordinate volunteers, check out a meet-up with NOVAA (North Oregon Volunteer Administrators Association) in VANCOUVER on Thursday September 5th at Latte Da Coffee House from 10-11am. NOVAA is looking to expand to Southwest Washington to support volunteer coordinators and agencies that rely on volunteer support.

Here’s a welcome and invitation from Chelsea White, City of Vancouver, Volunteer Program Assistant:

I wanted to forward the information about an upcoming event for volunteer coordinators that I mentioned at the LCNN meeting. I’m on the board of NOVAA, Northwest Oregon Volunteer Administrators Association and we are expanding into SW Washington this fiscal year. Our first Member Meetup will be on September 5 in Vancouver. NOVAA’s mission is to inspire, develop, and support leaders in volunteer engagement and I personally love the Member Meetups because it’s a chance for me to hear ideas from colleagues in partner organizations and commiserate and brainstorm challenges. You do have to be a NOVAA member to join the meetups, but membership is only $50 for the whole year and you’ll be able to attend all our meetups and Learning Communities for free and you’ll get a discount on workshops and trainings.
