Join Urban Forestry for a hands-on workshop to learn proper pruning techniques and young tree care. Gain confidence in your pruning skills as you practice reduction and removal cuts, identifying the branch collar, and using the 3-cut method.

Participants will learn how to prune young trees for structure and clearance. For more information or to RSVP contact jessica.george@cityofvancouver.us or 360-487-8308.

Instruction, gloves, and tools will be provided. Feel free to bring your favorite pair of bypass hand pruners. Dress for the weather, wear long pants and closed-toe shoes.
