Pollinator Gardens Tour with Clark Public Utilities

This year during National Pollinator week, the utility will host garden tours at three Pollinator Project garden installations, and interested community members are invited to visit the downtown Electric Center for educational guest presentations on planting healthy pollinator habitat at home, guided garden tours and pollinator themed kid’s activities!

Garden guides will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Operations and Van Dyke Substation Pollinator Gardens, and hosted activities at the Electric Center during that time will include:

– Guided tours of the Electric Center Pollinator Project Garden featuring colorful blooms and native plants naturally adapted to support pollinator habitat

– Hosted informational tables and kid’s activities highlighting our commitment to creating healthy pollinator and wildlife habitat on utility properties as part of our decades-long commitment to responsible and sustainable environmental stewardship

– Guest presentations from local pollinator experts with ideas for incorporating pollinator-friendly plants in home landscapes

We hope to see you there!
