Columbia River Walk: Life along the water's edge

Join us on a nature walk along the river’s edge in search of winter birds and the tracks left behind by wildlife who call this wetland forest home.

Water Resources Education Center
4600 SE Columbia Way, Vancouver, WA 98661

Autumn weather has set in, and the edges along the riparian areas are becoming sparse. Leaves are falling, plants are shutting down in preparation for winter, and waterfowl and raptors are inhabiting and flying over the waterways. Join us on a nature walk along the river’s edge in search of winter birds and the tracks left behind by wildlife who call this wetland forest home.

This walk is suitable for ages 6 and older. Advanced registration required. Sign up today!

Plan to walk 2 miles on uneven trails, sandy and muddy pathways and beaches, and some paved surfaces. Additional details and program logistics will be emailed to registered participants.

If this event becomes full since space is limited and you see that registrations are no longer being accepted, please use the contact email below to add your name to the waitlist.
