2024 Summer Camp Confluence - 2 week camp begins!

It's time for our second summer camp Confluence! This time, we've expanded from a one week day camp to a two week one. During this two week day camp, youth will spend time on the Fort Vancouver National Reserve site at the Confluence Office and adjacent fields.

We will have multiple field trips, including a trip to the Vancouver Land Bridge, Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge (Ridgefield, WA), the Confluence Bird Blind at the Sandy River Delta (Troutdale, OR), and a full-day trip to Cape Disappointment (Ilwaco, WA). Each day will offer a variety of outdoor activities (e.g., canoe culture, Native plants, storytelling, etc.) as youth engage with Indigenous educators offering Indigenous Traditional Ecological and Cultural Knowledge (ITECK) place-based lessons that integrate environmental education, science, and cultural and language arts.

Camp Confluence is made possible by Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission's No Child Left Inside (NCLI) grant program program! Thank you!
